Sweet Maggie is a special horse! She is one of the sweetest, smartest horses I’ve ever been around.  She has the funniest personality!  She LOVES to be around people!  My dad raised her.  Horses like Maggie don’t come by accident.  She comes from many years of selective breeding.   For those of you who know Missouri foxtrotting bloodlines, she is a granddaughter of the one and only SOUTHERN SUNRISE who is noted for gentle, gentle horses and being a Hall of Fame stallion siring more World Champions and the most offspring than any other stallion in the breed.

Maggie has been ridden by a lot of different people as you can see from the video. She is especially a perfect size for all riders including beginner riders or someone seeking confidence on and off the trail (standing almost 14.0 hh) She has also been ridden in a lot of different places!  She has been desensitized to about everything you can imagine…..from goats,pigs, cows, other farm animals to tarps and whips, and leaf blowers, bicycles and motorcycles.  She has no bad habits on the trails.  She will lead or follow.  She stands still for the farrier.  You should come and try Sweet Maggie out for yourself!
