Oh wow, take a look at this guy! Papa Smurf is a solid 15H, is 15 years old, and is a True-Blue Roan Gelding registered with the Pleasure Saddle Horse Association. To give you some background info on Smurf, I sold him almost four years ago to a grandma who has enjoyed and ridden him countless miles. Her grandchildren have ridden him, and he has been the family’s best friend… but sadly, after 35 years of marriage, Grandma found herself in the middle of a divorce and had no place to keep Smurf anymore. So, she called me, and I bought him back. Smurf has been there and done that and is ready to do it all over again, kind of horse! He has been trail-ridden lots of miles and camping in several states. He has a natural 4-beat gait that is super smooth, and anyone will enjoy it! He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATVs, over large noisy tarps, and has also had guns shot off of his back. He has ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and all types of rough terrain while still being sure-footed. He has been ridden in traffic and is very traffic-safe around cars, semis, logs, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and attitude about whatever he is asked to do.
