Shamrock is a super stocky built 15.3hh, 9-year-old Sorrel Quarter Horse/ Belgian Draft Cross Gelding. We originally sold Shamrock and some others back in January of 2021. The family that bought him came in under the COVID and Yellowstone era of horse ownership. Since owning Shamrock, he has just been a pet and has been trail-ridden around their ranch. However, due to life changes, the family decided to sell all their horses, and we brought Shamrock and his mates back. Shamrock has a lot of experience and has been ridden lots of miles. He has been trail-ridden in several states. He will cross creeks, ditches, and logs and navigate rough, rocky areas. He is safe riding in traffic. He has a smooth jog, a nice lope, and easily turns a circle both ways and backs! He is a confident horse on the trails and will lead the crew, head out alone, or follow behind without issues! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife, such as deer or turkey, or other animals like cows or dogs, and will go anywhere he is asked to. He has ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and all types of rough terrain while still being sure-footed.
