Description: The first thing I look for in a horse is their personality. You can train a horse to do a lot of things but you can not change their personality. Dually is the type of horse that you can look for a lifetime and never find. Dually does not get excited riding by himself or with a crowd of 50 riders. Dually was ridden last year by a 70 year old neighbor. He has been on organized rides with large crowds and he does not care! Dually will ride calmly even as another horse canters by him, he does not even try to speed up. He rides on a loose rein and will not even gait until you ask him it does not matter what the horses in front of him are doing. I have multiple videos of him calmly following other horses. Dually likes to keep a few lengths behind other horse. He is very gentle and easy going and loves attention. He does not care where he rides in a group, he actually prefers to follow but will lead also. He has been ridden all over Tennessee and Big South Fork NRA. He has crossed flooded rivers with swift running water with no problem. He has been exposed to traffic, ATV’s, wildlife, dogs, turkeys, coyotes, even construction equipment. Dually takes everything in stride and very seldom every shies, when he does he will just stop and look at the thing I give him a chance to look for a few seconds then he will go up and sniff it. Dually has been ridden on some of the hardest trails in the Big South Fork and handled it easily. Dually will go wherever he is pointed. Dually does not act like a 3 year old he acts more like a mature horse. He is only for sale because he hit a growth spurt over the winter and is now 15 hands. Now that does not seem tall unless you are a 5’2″ overweight and 63 year old woman. Dually will stand well for the farrier and loads into a trailer well.  Dually’s grand sire is Southern Sunrise, he also has Missouri Traveler and Zane Grey on his papers. This colt is bred to be a quiet easy going partner. Someone is going to get a fantastic partner for many years to come. If you have trouble with delivery I may be able to help.”
