Scooter is a 14hh, 11 yr old, Jet Black Gelding. Scooter has been ridden by a girl that is 13 years old, and she has had Scooter camping in several states, ridden him on both the Knott County and Booneville trail rides here in Kentucky with hundreds of other riders. Scooter has been the perfect horse for her, but she is growing up and is more into sports than riding horses. Scooter is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle in any way. Scooter has been ridden by our 9-year-old boy and ridden double by or girls who are 8 and 3 years old. I’m never gonna tell anyone that a horse is “100% kid-safe,” but Scooter has been 100% safe for my kids to ride and play around. He will flatfoot walk slowly on a loose rein, or he will move on out when asked. He has a natural 4-beat gait that anyone will love the feel of! Scooter has lots of experience and has been camping in multiple states, and has been ridden in many national forests. On the trails, he is always great! Scooter has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked to. He safe around any kind of traffic, from motorcycles to semi trucks. He is an awesome horse and will be the perfect addition to any family. Call me with any questions!
