Rocky is a chocolate 12-year-old, Rocky Mountain gelding with a mixed mane & tail.

He’s been trail-ridden his entire life and has the energy to last all day long. Rocky loads, clips, shoes, hauls, backs, saddles, and bridles wonderfully, without any issues. He’s not bossy and gets along great with other horses on a trail. Rocky is a personable horse and has a great temperament.

While training at Loid Stables, he’s been broke to ride right beside heavy traffic, including semi-trucks and motorcycles. He’s sound in every way. Rocky’s hooves are in excellent condition and can be easily handled. We’ve known Rocky for around six years; when his previous owners sold their farm, we bought him and have had him in our training program since. He’s a stout and gentle Rocky Mountain horse, great for an intermediate to experienced range of rider.

Rocky has a great gate and easily comes back into a walk. He’s comfortable in water, woods and climbs any terrain in front of him. Climbing out of the water onto a bank, over logs, dirt piles, this horse has a powerful motor. Rocky has recently been introduced to gunfire and has responded well. He’s been given the gold standard approval and is ready for his next adventure!

The balance is to be wire transferred on the following business day. The buyer is solely responsible for any transporting arrangements. Our training facility is located in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
