Lars is a 8 year old Icelandic red dun gelding that stands 14.2 hands tall barefoot and is built to pack a 300lb man! This is no ordinary pony, he has the size, stamina and heart to ride with any horse and pack any rider and look good doing it! Lars is breath taking in person and catches an eye everywhere he goes! He’s been trail ridden all over and rides in the front, middle or back! He gets along well with other horses in the pasture or on the trail! He has a fancy way of traveling and can get off the ground big Barefoot and perform his Tolt into speeds into the upper teens or low 20’s! And if that isn’t fast enough he has a canter to die for with just a push of a button! Lars will come get you from a mounting block and he will also take you to a mounting block to dismount! He stands great for the farrier, clips, loads, Baths, etc. with ease. Lars is a forward moving Icelandic with their known Tolt gait. If you’re unfamiliar with Icelandic horses please Google search them because they are quite different than your average pony!
