No, you’re not dreaming… he is real and is the real deal!!! Kick Back, aka Jazz, stands around 15.1 to 15.2hh, 6 yr old Buckskin Gelding with four white socks and dark stockings above those socks! He is one classy-looking guy! Jazz looks so good for a reason… he was bred to be a looker, going back to A Jazz Man and Prides Generator on the bottom, and he gets his color from his sire’s side going back to the famous Hes Black Hills Gold! Jazz has been trail ridden throughout Kentucky, Alabama, and Tennessee as well. He has been on camping trips, been ridden in national parks, and has also made a big trip out west and seen the Bad Lands, Black Hills… he’s been there and done it all! In addition to trail riding, he has been introduced to field trials, and we have ridden him at night, and coon hunted off of him. Jazz is easy to catch, clip, bathe, tack up, load, and handle. Jazz is the epitome of what a gaited horse should be!!! He is well built, refined, classy, colorful, and, oh yeah, he has the perfect 4-beat gait that is SUPER smooth hour after hour, and those long miles out on the trails in the saddle will seem like minutes! On the trails, he is always great and is a seasoned pro! Jazz has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife, such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs, and will go anywhere that he is asked to. He has ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure-footed. He has ridden beside busy highways as well. He has a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do. I always try to describe every horse to the best of my ability but don’t take my word for it.
