Gus is an absolutely beautiful golden dappled palomino gelding that stands 14.1 with a new shoe job. Gus was my 12-year-old sons’ horse that he started himself. We have had Gus on many trails as he does very well for a young gelding. My son has never had any issues with Gus whatsoever. Gus is more than willing to do anything he is asked to do. He is built very stout and thick and easy to look at; he is absolutely beautiful. Gus will park out on command, trailers well, bathes, clips, ties, and stands for the farrier. I used Gus on a 14-mile trail ride just this week my 4-year-old daughter, and I rode Gus the entire ride without any problems whatsoever; I haven’t seen a trail too bad for Gus. He does great on the trail. He will ride the front, middle, or back of the pack and not be a bother. If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-built, well-started in the right direction forever horse that will last you a lifetime, that you can just get on and go, this is definitely your horse. Gus is a blast to ride and easy on and off with his size. Gus is currently kept in the barn because my son goes to get him anytime he wants to and makes it easy, we have turned him out in the pasture, and he does well, although he can be pushed around pretty easily by other horses. Gus could get along easily with almost anything. However, Gus is not an old deadhead broke- broke horse because he is still young and learning.
