Everyone, I would love to introduce you to my good friend Goose! Goose is a gorgeous coming 5-year-old 15.1hh SSH gelding. We bought Goose back in the summer and have enjoyed every minute of him. We have hauled him out on countless trail rides. He has been my main horse since we got him. I have done everything imaginable with him. From ponying colts off him, hunting off him, handling dogs, trail riding, trips to town, and checking on livestock. Goose is one special young horse. He has a bigger-than-life personality and is just a joy to be around. He handles the very best and is easy to catch. He will stand tied out all day like a perfect gentleman. Loves to be groomed and loved on. Easy to bathe, clip, and great for the farrier. No problem to saddle and bridle and will stand like a statue to be mounted. Goose is a really laid-back guy; he will walk along all day on a loose rein if you let him. But he does have a phenomenal gait. He can flat-out walk the dog. He has an amazing flat walk and running walk where he will shake his head with every stride. He would be very competitive in country/trail pleasure walking classes. He could compete at any level. He also has a very smooth canter that he will fall right into and is so smooth. Goose will ride out with or without company with no issues. Rides anywhere in a group as well. He is a fantastic easy, going trail horse. He will take his time and really watches where he places his footing. Very sure-footed! He will go anywhere you point him; it doesn’t get too rough for him. He will cross all types of water, fallen trees, and slippery rocks. Traffic and ATV safe. Great around livestock and wildlife as well.
