Meet D’Artagnan, the beautiful Friesian X, who not only rides with ease but also drives/pulls like a pro! (pulling tack and carriage are sold separately). Standing at 15.2 hh, he will surely be noticed by everyone on the trails or in the parade. This fancy boy was trained to pull at the Arlington National Cemetery as part of the US Army Caisson Platoon with beauty and style such as his pride simply flows. He’s not just a looker. He loves his job and is eager to work. Looking stately in his driving/pulling tack, he will surely be the talk of the parade!
D’Artagnan crosses water without consequence and has no buck or bite. On trails, he is happy to lead or follow; side passing is not an issue for him. Trailering to various locations is easy, as he loads and unloads like the pro he is. We see the farrier every six weeks (about one and a half months); he stands like a statue when it is his turn and has not given the farrier trouble. You will notice his clean bill of health; with the vet aging him at ten years old, he will be your companion for many years! Dart is ready to join your herd; he is fully vaccinated, with great teeth and clean Coggins. With more go than woah, he is eager to get to work for his next owner.
In the attached videos, you will notice the child handling him easily. This is my beginner 10 yr. Old who normally rides a quarter horse. That was the first time he had ridden D’Artagnan and had a blast. I had him help with the videos to show how smart D’Artagnan truly is; with little prompting, he responds perfectly to what he is being asked to do!
