Introducing Cash….or as we like to call him “The Cowboy’s Cadillac!”

Cash is a registered Rocky Mountain gelding. He stands 15 hands with a big stocky build. Cash, at just five years, has seen & been to more states working than most people.

We rode him up the mountain in a halter and lead rope from the day we started Cash. He has been gentle as a kitty from day one. Cash was quickly turned into one of our ranch horses and was taking on cow & wild horse jobs. He has been a hard worker for us from day one.

Cash has extensive riding in all types of terrain and in many different states. He is sure-footed and can safely carry anyone up the steepest climbs and safely back down. Cash rides out by himself or will ride relaxed in a large group.

Cash has a loose rein wall, a smooth trot, an even smoother gait, and can cover ground with stride. He also has a nice flowing loose rein canter that is a pleasure to ride. Cash also enjoys being ridden bareback as much as everyone else enjoys riding him bareback.

Cash isn’t just all fun and games. He also knows how to work. Cash, with only a couple of weeks riding, was taken in his first cow job. He trailed, roped, and doctored calves. Cash accepted the situation like he does everything…..laid back & chill.

Cash has also worked on horse ranches. Pushing, driving & gathering large herds of horses. Most horses would be extremely fired up chasing horses or watch a herd run by, but Cash doesn’t mind at all. He can swing gates and work a corral.

Cash’s experience and work don’t stop there. He has even been used on helicopter gathers as the Prada horse. The horse is extremely important to our work. He will slowly trot into trap and allow young foals or weak horses to keep up. Cash has experienced a helicopter above him, behind him, and hovering beside him. He’s also more than used to loud trucks and trailers bouncing around him. He also doesn’t mind skid steers or panels crashing around him or flags waving beside him.

Cash is at a point in his life where he is ready to excel in anything. He has done a little bit of it all but can go in any direction anyone wants. He has mounted shooting, roping, trail riding, packing, ranching, & he even has show horse potential. He is gentle enough anyone who can handle a horse can ride him. He would do better with someone who can add a little more neck reining handle and continue to use all leg cues correctly. Cash has never bucked, reared, or behaved in any way that would be dangerous. From day one, he has been gentle and willing. He is also a very in your pocket, wants to be your best friend type horse. His favorite thing is butt scratches, and although he isn’t rude or pushy about it, he def will make sure he’s in a position you can reach out and give him a scratch!

Cash is a special type of horse. He is very athletic and has won the hearts of cowboys who never dreamed that see a gaited horse work along side their quarter horses. Cash will do anything for anyone; he can be an all-around horse or be worked for specific jobs or events. He is a one in a million horse!

Cash is ready for his new adventure & ready to meet his forever trail partner, work partner, or best friend!
