Benny is a 6-year-old Kentucky Mountain Gelding standing at 14’3hh. Benny is a true-blue roan and very easy on the eyes. He is an exceptional trail horse and very easy to get along with. Benny has a natural, smooth four-beat gait or will walk on a loose rein when asked. He will ride in a halter or even bridle-less, slide stop, stand for mounting, side-pass to a mounting block, and not to mention your farrier will love him. We have ridden him many miles in Eastern Kentucky and taken him on many overnight camping trips. Benny will stand like a gentleman overnight on a picket line, stalls well, and gets along in the field with other horses. Benny has been my wife’s pick in the barn and is a blast to ride. He is the kind of gentleman you can sit back and enjoy yourself with. Just set the cruise and drop the reins. Benny doesn’t mind riding in the back, front, or middle of the pack. He is sure-footed and will take care of his rider going up or down steep slopes or across rivers and creeks. Benny’s Blue is looking for his new forever home.
