Description:

Amigo is a beautiful 6-year-old Missouri Fox Trotter gelding. He stands 14.2 hands and is that dreamy, rich palomino with a long, thick mane and tail. He has amazingly smooth gaits from trail walking, flat walk, running walk, and foxtrot. Containing all the right ingredients to make him the type of horse you could ride all day, with reach, rhythm, and fluid movement.
Amigo has traveled across the country with me. He hauls well and settles in easily. His time spent in Southern California was spent riding nature trails that hikers and bikers share—going up hills, down hills, crossing roads and bridges, and riding along roads with passing cars. He has lived the city life and spent ample time in rugged Wyoming. Navigating mountain passes, crossing water canals, and meandering through cattle. He is super friendly with other horses in the pasture and easy to catch. He stands very quietly while tied, can go out on a solo ride without any fuss, and flows right into being with a group.
Due to the terrain he has been ridden in, he has had shoes on the fronts and hinds. Amigo would pair best with an intermediate or above rider.
