I sold Amarillo back in early October to a customer of mine, and the very night that she bought him, I listed a 15.3H palomino that rode and drove, which was exactly what she was looking for, and she bought him off of the auction as well. She didn’t need two horses, so he is being offered due to no fault of his own. Amarillo had been owned by a local gentleman who had him trail riding at all of the local venues, and he had also taken him to the local fun shows. Amarillo has a very smooth and natural 4-beat gait, and he rides and gaits on a loose rein. Just sit back and relax; he will cruise along in a nice, smooth gait. Amarillo is not spooky acting on the trails, highway, or in a show ring. Loudspeakers, banners hanging, crowds of people… he’s seen it all, including all sorts of wildlife on the trails. He will handle rough, rocky areas, go up or down steep slopes across deep creeks, go over downed trees, and all types of rough terrain while still being sure-footed.
