If you’re looking for solid, you found him. Marshall was started with a great foundation and has progressed through our program with flying colors. He has had extensive groundwork and has excellent ground manners. He has spent hours and hours flexing, bending, moving off your legs, and picking up his shoulders.
Talk about fun, Marshall is ready to go! With an endless amount of miles of trail riding in all kinds of terrain to days-on-end quail hunting, you can bet he’s up to the task. Marshall has a very fancy way of going with a nice head shake. He is super smooth and easy to ride. Marshall is very soft and easy with all his cues. He neck reins one-handed, side passes, backs easily with just your legs and lopes both leads on cue with a smooth transition into a gait. He has the prettiest, smoothest rocking chair canter that is hard to find. He can be ridden with a loose rein, fast or slow, and still, be just as smooth. Marshall is so soft, he can be ridden BRIDLELESS and BRIDLELESS anywhere.
Marshall’s extensive background on the trail and in the woods makes him a pro going through tall brush, over logs, and going through mud and water. He is used to seeing all kinds of wildlife, quail flying up in his face, and crazy bird dogs running under his legs. Marshall knows how to ground tie while you go flush birds and is good with gunfire on or off his back. He parks out and will also side pass up to anything with the snap of your fingers to make mounting easy. He will stand like a statue every time you get on or off, and he’s okay with you getting on either side. Marshall stands hobbled and is also good with traffic and bullwhips. He can be ridden out alone or with large groups of horses. He is fine to lead the trail or follow along in the back. Marshall is sweet, loves his treats, and is very personable. He is easy to catch in the pasture, quiet in the barn and gets along well with other horses. He loads in the trailer easily and backs out like a champ. He stands quietly without being tied for the farrier, grooming, clipping, saddling, and takes the bridle willingly.
His natural talent, experience, and willing disposition make him the total package! Marshall is a trail horse deluxe! He also has the looks and the ability to excel in the show ring! Marshall is one of those few horses, that is smooth, gentle, solid, and consistent. He will be the same every time you get on him, even with time off. Marshall is a beautiful, loving, and gentle gelding the whole family will enjoy for years to come!
Marshall has been routinely dewormed, vaccinated, routine teeth floating, and shoeing.
We require the buyer to be PayPal or Venmo accessible to place a $2000 deposit immediately following the end of the auction. (No exception! Please find a friend or family member to aid in the deposit if not PayPal or Venmo accessible). We require the remaining balance to be wire transferred before the close of the following business day.
