Midnight is used for trail rides and open-show events. He is the type of horse to put a beginner rider on him, and he will take care of them! Kid Friendly too! Midnight is good for overnight camping, open horse shows, trail rides, park rides, arena rides, and just an all-around horse to use from Parades to Camping. This gelding doesn’t spook. It just doesn’t happen. He is so safe and easy to ride. ANYONE can ride him. He is an excellent trail horse. He has ridden for miles on the trails and ties up safely too. He is tough and will last you all day on the trail. He is sure-footed and strong.
He knows how to move off legs, and neck reins, open gates, fancy stop, and stands still while mounted. He has all the fancy buttons but can turn it down for someone who has never ridden. He has more whoa than go but knows who’s on her and adjusts accordingly.
He is easy to catch, good with his feet, and has never been lame or had any health issues. He is barefoot, an extremely easy keeper, and gets along in our herd with no drama. Loads and ties quietly and is easy to handle. Not pushy. He is safe and ready for his new adventure. He has seen bicycles, motorcycles, traffic, dogs barking, fireworks, etc. Nothing spooks him. We used whips, tarps, balloons, and guns. He will ride out alone or in a group. He will ride out in front or behind other horses. He will always meet you at the gate. He has a smooth trot and rides English as well as Western.
