“Chev” will earn a place in your barn and heart so quickly! Chev loves attention and is so tender-hearted. He is the sweetest boy and trusted with the most precious cargo. We just finished a big camping trip where Chev had long days hiking into the mountains, swimming, and hanging out under the stars! Chev was a trooper and never once thought about being sour or silly! He has packed kiddos as young as 6 through town and around the ranch! Chev knows how to babysit younger kiddos and inexperienced adults but also knows how to step it up for someone more experienced! He’s quick, athletic, and ready for any job.
Chev will pick you up at the block, is easy to saddle, bridle, load, and bathe, and is great for the vet and farrier. Chev has been in all types of country and trail rides the very best. He handles steep ditches, logs, water crossings, and bridges. He overnight camps, ties, and stands well. Chev will gather and sort cattle. He has a nice walk, smooth jog, and easy rocking horse lope! Chev also loves to jump! We have jumped him to 2’6 with the ability and mind to go higher easily! He absolutely loves cross-country jumping and would make an incredible show jumper as well!
