Meet Rockstar!!! He is a stout-built gelding standing 15 and 15.1hh, coming 4-year-old Black Gelding Friesian Sport Horse (Friesian/Percheron Draftcross). Rockstar has been our “go-to” horse when we needed something gentle and safe with no-nonsense about it! He is the PERFECT horse for any member of the family or the perfect one to use as a “guest horse.” He is a confidence builder that will take care of his rider and is never in a hurry. My nieces have ridden him and had a lot of fun with him. He is very trustworthy and is always safe! Rockstar has been trail-ridden lots of miles. He will ride any trail or terrain that you ask him to! He will cross creeks, ditches, and logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is traffic safe. He has a smooth jog, a nice lope, and knows his leads and side passes very well! I have got him started on lying down, and he is doing well with that. He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife, such as deer or turkey, or other animals like cows or dogs, and will go anywhere that he is asked to. He has seen everything that one could see out on the trails. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure-footed. I have not driven him, but he had two weeks of training before I got him last year. Rockstar is not cinchy, cold-backed, and does not crib or weave.
