Are you looking for your forever horse? Well, look no further! PR Wilywoods Buck, a.k.a Woody, does it all and is young enough to go in any direction you would like to take him! Woody is a 3-year-old 2020 Perryman Handcock Quarter Horse who stands at 13.3 hands. Though he is small now, I am very sure he will grow to be at least 14.2 hands. I bought him from the Perryman Ranch in Arkansas and have had him for two years.

Woody is extremely talented and willing. At first, he is apprehensive about new people, but as soon as he knows he can trust you, he will do anything you ask of him. He has ridden trails and is not spooky at all, and you wouldn’t even know you were riding a 3-year-old. He walks over bridges, through streams, ditches, railroad tracks, logs, and anything else you ask him to do, he will do it! He will lead, ride in the center, or in the back. He has ridden in both large and small groups and does not mind either. He will also ride out alone! He hauls perfectly and stands quietly on a high tie or in a corral. I have put an advanced beginner on him on the trails, and he was perfect! He could make a good husband horse once he has a few more miles under his belt.

If you’re looking for your next cow pony, you’ve found him! Woody loves working cows and really has an act for it. The YouTube video is a video from her first cow sorting. He really enjoyed it, and I was told that he would be unstoppable with the proper training (I have never sorted cows before)! Woody also could make a great roping horse! Oh, did I mention if you push him, he’s quick! Defiantly could be a barrel prospect!

Woody can be turned out with mares or geldings. He is not aggressive and is a low man on the totem pole. He stands for the farrier, is tied to the trailer, doesn’t mind shots, is good with the vet, has NEVER been lame, and is UTD on all vaccines and coggins. He is currently barefoot, but if you ride rocky trails, I recommend putting shoes on him so they do not tear his feet up, but that is up to you.

Woody works mainly off trust. As I mentioned before, as long as he knows he can trust you, there is nothing he won’t do for you! No matter what direction you decide to take him in, he will give his whole heart to it and you. Woody aims to please and does not have a mean bone in his body. I am very excited for him to find his forever home, and I know that he will make his owner very happy!
