Hattie is a 12-year-old mare standing at 14.3HH that’s been there and done that. Everyone wants the broke grandma horse, and here she is! She will take care of anyone on any level of riding.
Hattie came from a local farm where she was used as a trail horse. She has ridden through cattle, been hauled between 4 states to trail ride, and even was used as a local girl’s 4-H project. Hattie does have some flaws, which can be typical horse problems. She’s not the best to catch in a field, but with a bucket, it’s no issue. She is all about the walk/trot life. Loping isn’t her strong suit. And she gets moody if another horse is up her tail, but she has never offered to kick.
Hattie is sound, honest, and sane, and I can’t say enough great things about this little lady! She will stand tied quietly all day, saddle and ride off, stands for the farrier, loves baths, and she may secretly love a treat now and then. Take Hattie and make her the trail horse you dream about, or share her with the family! I promise with the color and the brains this mare has, you won’t be disappointed.
