Brownie

Description:

Brownie is a 5-year-old Bay Welsh pony. He stands 51 inches tall.

Brownie is an all-around kind of pony. We have used him in parades. He has been on many trail rides and is started on the barrels. He has been run in the exhibition and regular races. He has been to a couple of play-day horse shows. He has won lots of ribbons.

Brownie is trained to pull a cart/carriage. He is very easy to drive.

Brownie has tracked a few calves. He has been roped off of some but not a lot. He is not scared to take a jerk and will pull from the saddle horn.

Brownie has an easy one-hand neck rein with a great stop and will back up easily.

Brownie is started in trick training!! Lay down and sit up; I’ll have a video of that next week when my jockey gets home from vacation.

Brownie is NOT a beginner-type pony. He does have a little motor on him. If your kid knows basic horsemanship, they will be fine, but I do not recommend him for a very small child’s first pony. I just wanted to make that clear.

He is shoer friendly and has new shoes on all four feet. Note that Brownie is a light cribber in the stall
