Amarillo has been owned by a local gentleman who has had him trail riding at all of the local venues, and he has also taken him to the local fun shows. Amarillo has a very smooth and natural 4-beat gait, and he rides and gaits on a loose rein. Just sit back and relax; he will cruise along in a nice, smooth gait. Amarillo is not spooky acting on the trails, out on the highway, or in a show ring. Loudspeakers, banners hanging, crowds of people… he’s seen it all, including all sorts of wildlife on the trails. He will handle rough rocky areas, go up or down steep slopes across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over rough terrain while still being sure-footed.
