Quincy

Description:

Quincy is a 13.3-hand 9-year-old gelding. He’s as wide as he is tall and will keep going all day. You can put anyone on him out on the trails, and he will drop his head and walk. We’ve had him through town, on the highway, and next to vehicles. He’ll go first or last, wherever you want to place him. Rivers, ditches, and cattle don’t phase him a bit. He’ll stand quietly in the river while you splash water on him. Or keep walking without hesitation. We’ve pushed a few cows with him and exposed him to them many times. He’s handled each time like a champ. Quincy is great in the arena too. He will trot and lope circles in both directions, picking up both leads easily. But will also pull up and walk off without getting hot. He’s been played with on the barrels and will trot a nice set. We’ve swung a rope from him and roped a dummy, but he still needs work getting used to it. I’ve had him jump little buckets, and he does it without an issue. Quincy has the potential to go in any direction still and be someone’s #1 using horse. Or he’s quiet enough to be a kid’s next pony.
