Description:

Joy is an 8-year-old red sorrel mule. She is 16.1 and a pleasure to be around and ride. She’s the first to meet you at the gate, stands for farrier, loads and unloads with no problems, stands for mounting and dismounting, and stands tied quietly for hours. Joy walks, trots, canters, and can lope off so smoothly. She would make an excellent hunter-jumper candidate. She is very athletic and not recommended for a beginner or child. She has more go than whoa, so an advanced beginner or intermediate rider would be best. She neck reins, opens and closes gates, and crosses bridges, water, and logs with no problems. She loves attention and brushing and is a mule that wants a daily job. She will ride out in the front, middle, or back and is middle of the pecking order. She gets anxious when alone, so she likes to be with at least one other animal. Please feel free to ask any questions, call, text, or visit.

Joy has a Jones mule saddle, and custom britchen, breast collar, and both cinches are made by Joe Gee in Oregon. Her bridle is from Queen Valley Mule Ranch and can be purchased separately as an option.
