Description:

Appy is one of those horses you can do anything you want with, and I can’t say enough good things about her! First off, I want you to know of the one blemish she has. She is a little pigeon-toed in the front. It’s shown in the video, and as the video shows, it affects her in no way. She is one of the prettiest-papered Appaloosas I have seen, not only that but she is sweet and loves attention! Take her on an all-day trail ride with the walking horses, and she will keep up! We started the mare in the roping pen, coming out of the box and tracking the dummy! If you have a kid needing to learn how to break away, here is one that will help with that, she will stand flat-footed in the box all day if you were to ask her to. She has never been behind live cattle, just the roping sled! I’ve had the mare on all-day trail rides, crossing rivers, and climbing steep hills. She has been taken to local barrel races to ride around on, and she’s been shot off of! Load and unload on the trailer with ease. She will stall up but would rather be turned out! She is pretty independent, will ride off on her own, but will also ride out on the trail with the pack! She has a lot of get-up and go, will move out nicely on the trail; she’s not one to just plod along! I would say she is not for your inexperienced grandma to ride just because she has a lot of go in her. This mare has absolutely no buck, or any silly business just likes to go! You can ride her every day or leave her to sit for a few months, and she will ride off like she hadn’t missed a day! She stands to be saddled, clipped, and bathed (it’s a little cold this time of year to get a video of that); she does good for the farrier but will move around a little. She just had her feet reset on January 25th, 2022, teeth were floated back in October of 2021! The mare has never offered to buck or rear! She can have a little attitude toward other horses. She will stand tied at the trailer does well at overnight camps. Will drink and eat while away from home! Take the mare home and make her your everyday trail horse or just the weekender horse. If you have a kid needing something that will hold up under them for years, be sure not to miss out on this one! Her pedigree has proven winners on the bottom side in barrel and roping arena, and Foundation bred on the top! When you get done riding her, turn her out and make a nice broodmare of her! She is 100% sound and ready for her new forever home!
