Here at TotonkaTrailEquine.com we take pride in bringing you some of the finest Equine. We try to offer safe trail horses, ranch horses, and some competition horses. We try to touch the bases from the Western side of life to the English side of life. We also offer endurance horses, some lower level cross country horses, and some fine mules as well. We love doing what we do and feel blessed to work with such fine companions. We strive to make all around horses knowing so many different jobs and ready to excel in whatever direction you would wish to pursue. Our main goal is to make happy horses for happy homes. We do offer vet checks with all of our horses, and you are welcome to get your own at your expense. We like to have everything ready to go – teeth floated, vaccinated, and up to date on farrier work – so they are ready to enjoy as soon they arrive and you build your bond with your new best friend. We offer transportation anywhere in the USA and internationally. We can get them microchipped as well if you’d like. They come with a brand inspection from the state of Colorado (title of ownership) in your name. We will get the health certificates for travel as well. We offer 3 days of free board after purchase. If you find one you can’t live without, and would like to customize the horse or mule to do anything special, talk to us and we will accommodate, getting it to do so. We do not train here – we teach – and our program has seen some amazing results. We have over 65 years experience making some of the best minded Equine in the industry . We use most of our tricks such as running a bullwhip , or roping for practicality here on the ranch. Our Equine are used daily on ranch chores as well , not just pushing a milk cow or hobby herd for videoing purposes . They actually love gathering cattle and tending the herds . We take alot of clients for overnights and packing trips for hunting and fishing services we offer. So everything is good at hobbling and used to being under the stars grazing at our camps . We operate on 53,000 acres in the northern Colorado wilderness. And access to over 2million acres of public land . They truly see more wildlife than most. We put them in alot of situations with varying terrain, truly making them sure footed and willing . We operate lower altitude during winter and move to higher elevations spring to late fall . We would love for you to come try your horse out and make sure it is a great fit for both you and the horse. We offer fly fishing and hunting trips as well in our operation . We also offer the experience of a lifetime gathering and moving cattle from summer to winter pastures . You will see some of the most beautiful sites Colorado has to offer , along with wildlife . We offer some great horsemanship and knowledge for those who would like to advance . We love feed back and making long lasting friendships. Airports are close by (Denver international Airport and Cheyenne Regional Airport). We will accommodate to take you on any type of terrain you would like to experience. We also spend time gathering cattle from April to November and you are welcome to come back anytime and join us. We have brandings and the summer pasture drives as well as the winter pasture gathering and drives. We are close to the beautiful Poudre River trail system if you’d like to experience some trails in town as well.
