    Between Buyer and Seller

Annie is a beautiful buckskin mare, 15 hands and will be 5 yrs old in April.  She's well built, stout and has excellent conformation. She has a very thick long tail, black legs and no white markings.  Annie has had been under saddle for two years and has had an additional 4 months of professional training - both in the arena and on trail.  She neck reins, moves off of your leg, will circle front around rear, stops on a voice command.  Watch the video to see her turn and stop with no reins. She works well in an arena and is great on trail.  She will ride alone, or in any position in a group of horses.  She will lead or follow in a group and will separate from the pack if you want her to and ride off alone.  We've ridden her down busy streets with motorcycles and big trucks and she never misses a beat.  You can see her do this in the video.  She's fine with farm machinery, dogs, and bikes. She will cross water of any depth like a pro.  We've had her on steep uphill and downhill trails and she's exceptionally careful and surefooted.  She will pony other horses, or be ponied if you want.   Annie has a good mind for learning new tricks and skills, and she's picked up whatever we've taught her.  She's been ridden in outdoor and indoor arenas.  She's been on mountain, desert and community trails and has seen a lot of territory. She has a friendly disposition and she will follow you all around the paddock to see what you're up to.  The vet can give her shots without even a halter on and she will just stand there.  She likes being groomed and petted and is fine with the wash rack.  Good for the farrier and she has hard dark feet.  She will load easily in the trailer as we trailer almost every time we ride.  She both backs out and will turn around if you ask.  We've had her at cow competitions so she's ok with cattle and the commotion.  She will stand tied to a trailer or fence with no pull back.  This horse is not marey, we have had her in paddocks with geldings and other mares and she gets along fine.  She ponies a gelding in the video on trail, right up against her rear.  No squealing or nonsense, she's very well behaves and likes her other horse friends.  She is up to date on teeth, shoes, shots and has been wormed every other month. Easy to catch, bridle and saddle.  No vices such as cribbing, wind sucking etc.  Does a nice slow flat walk on a loose rein, or ask for some speed and she'll move up to a faster gait, still on a fairly loose rein.  Canters and stops on command.  She will gait out at a nice speed without being on the muscle or up pulling on the bit.  No need for spurs to make her go - she will keep a good gait for miles. You don't need to push her, she's not lazy and loves to go down the trail. She will tie to a high line or trailer for camping, or stay in a portable stall.  Well bred Zane Grey, Missouri Traveler, Toddy's Perfection, Mack K Yankee lines.  Blue papered if you want to breed her.
