Waland and Lynne Burger

Hi this is Waland and Lynne Burger with Big Barn Ranch in Stockton, Missouri home to multiple World Grand Champion Missouri Fox Trotters for 18 years.

Our goal has always been to breed naturally gaited Missouri Fox Trotters with great dispositions, gaits, confirmation, great minds, and looks, as well as a ranch horse build. We have accomplished that and have many happy customers we call “friends” today.

Our select trainers and ourselves use Natural Horsemanship Training. Establish communication and trust, and bring out the best in the horse. Our horses are ridden with very light contact and trained for you to be sensitive to leg and seat aids. Whenever we are with a horse, we train them to trust us and look to us for direction. It is a beautiful thing when you feel that connection! We think you will like the finished product.

Call us to come meet, ride, and experience our horses. We are in Stockton, Missouri, not far from beautiful Stockton Lake. We have 300 beautiful acres to ride on, including an indoor and outdoor arena.
