Drew, Trissi Herbst, and children. We live on a working cattle ranch in small town Idaho. We run 350 head of mother cattle and our six boys have found that it’s the perfect place to raise and make gently cow ponies. Our older sons will start the ponies and will gradually train them until our 8 year old can ride them, and then our 4 year old. Once the 4 year old is able to handle the ponies easily, we know the pony is ready for auction. The ponies raised here work nearly every day on the ranch. They are used to move cows, ride range, brand and much more. Drew is a licensed farrier, and our horse’s feet are always cared for and kept in great condition.
