Hi, I’m Robin with Rockin R Farm in Jeffersonville, KY. We are a 5th generation owner/breeding farm for the critically endangered Mountain Pleasure Horse. The MPH is the oldest gaited breed in North America, and the parent stock to all other gaited breeds including the Tennessee Walking Horse, Missouri Fox Trotter and Rocky Mountain Horse. Their DNA has been proven to go back over 200 years. The Rockin R is a 70 acre farm with the largest herd of purebred MPH in the world today with over 60 head. I am also the current President of the MPHA as well as the coach of the Rockin R Rhythm Riders Drill team. Here at Rockin R Farm we are NOT in the business of selling horses for profit. Our family has spent generations raising Mountain Pleasure Horses because we believe in this breed. We are working hard to protect, promote and preserve one of Kentucky’s greatest pieces of living history. We would LUV to share this amazing breed with horse lovers worldwide.
