Arceo Performance Horses, located in Cleveland, Georgia, is owned and operated by Jose and Kelly Arceo. Our program is built around producing versatile, dependable western performance horses with strong foundations that excel both inside and outside the arena.
Jose’s horsemanship foundation was developed while working under respected horseman TJ Good of Good Performance Horses, where he gained invaluable experience training and developing quality performance horses. The lessons learned there continue to influence our program today—focusing on correctness, consistency, and creating horses that are prepared for long-term success.
Kelly’s passion for horses began long before Arceo Performance Horses was established. Growing up, she spent countless weekends competing at local horse shows in everything from western pleasure, english pleasure to speed events. Her grandfather was a trusted farrier throughout the area, and much of her childhood was spent around horses, horsemen, and the everyday realities of the equine industry. Those early experiences helped shape the values our program is built upon today: hard work, honesty, and a genuine love for good horses.
At Arceo Performance Horses, we believe a horse’s success is measured not only by what it accomplishes while in our care, but also by what it achieves after it leaves our barn. Over the years, we have sold numerous horses through respected venues such as the Clovis Horse Sale and Levelland Horse Sale, with many continuing on to thrive in successful and well-established programs across the country.
One example is King Luvin Holly, a mare that spent approximately a year in our program. We proudly represented her at the Clovis Horse Sale, where she was purchased by well-known couple in the high end performance horse industry. Just a few short months later, she sold at the prestigious Art of the Cowgirl Sale in Arizona for $75,000. While we are proud of stories like Holly’s, they represent only a small part of the success our horses have achieved after leaving our program.
Nothing is more rewarding than hearing from owners months or years later and learning that a horse from our program is succeeding in its next chapter—whether that’s in the show pen, on the ranch, or as a trusted family partner. Those conversations serve as a constant reminder that the time, effort, and dedication invested into each horse truly matter.
Today, our horses compete in ranch riding, ranch reining, ranch trail, cow horse events, reining, and all-around western disciplines. We strive to develop horses that are athletic, willing, mentally prepared, and capable of adapting to a variety of jobs and riders.
We take pride in representing our horses honestly and matching them with the right homes. When you purchase a horse from Arceo Performance Horses, you’re buying more than a horse—you’re investing in a program built on integrity, horsemanship, and a commitment to setting horses up for success long after they leave our barn.
