Katherine Sherrer

My name is Katherine, and I own Rising Starr Ranch. I’ve loved equine since I was five years old! I have competed in barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, breakaway roping, team roping, and cutting, and I was my high school rodeo queen in 2003 – 2004. The ranch was established in 2003, and we take pride in giving lessons for beginners to advance showing and have students of all ages. We ensure all of our horses have the best vet care, farrier care, and best quality feed and are safe for all riders at many levels. I enjoy starting young horses from start to finish and also get several horses a year that need improvement in their training to become great horses for people to be around.
