I have spent the last 20 years of my life deep in the horse industry, competing and selling performance horses. Including my childhood, I have been riding for almost 30 years and still competing in team roping most weekends. After making the CPRA state finals for ten years in a row, I slowed down and started making and training competitive rope horses for every level. Each year, I breed several mares to the top rope and barrel horse stallions available. I think it is important to consider both sides of a pedigree when raising horses to create the best prospect possible. I really enjoy making horses that the whole family can enjoy. I am adamant that my sales horses are confident and safe with no bad habits. I want them to have the best chance possible to succeed with their new family. Horses are involved in every part of my life. Everything I have, learn how to handle a pack saddle, ride in the mountains, drag calves to the branding fire, walk confidently over obstacles, and live in a herd. Having a job other than loping circles in the arena is important. You can do anything with a horse that is broke right and willing to be your partner.
