Danni, an avid FEI dressage rider, owns and operates Pony Island Stable in Kennett Square, PA, where she teaches, trains , sells horses and runs an Air BnB on the farm. Danni gives lessons, competes clients horses and sale horses in multi disciplines (including Traditional Dressage, Western Dressage, Working Equitation, Cowboy Dressage, hunters/jumpers, eventing, driving, fox hunting, Pony Club, 4-H & pleasure riding ) instilling a strong DRESSAGE basics for all horses & riders. She also enjoys competing in Musical Freestyles, Pas De Deux and Quadrilles. She is a graduate member of the Brandywine Hounds Pony Club. Danni has earned her USDF Bronze and Silver medals and already has two scores towards her Gold Medal as well as her USDF Silver Bar Freestyle award. Danni enjoys helping riders & horses develop through judging. She a USEF “R” Traditional dressage judge & USEF “R” Western dressage judge and currently in the “L” program for Working Equitation Judging. She hopes to continue to go on to get her USEF “S” for Dressage one day as well as Sport Horse, Working Equitation “R” & Cowboy Dressage. Danni has been a member of the DVCTA Board for three terms and served as an officer and a President of DVCTA.
She would not have achieved all these things without the help of some great trainers and coaches. A very special thanks to some of her trainers, Becky Langwost-Barlow, Chris Hickey, Lori Jakabouskas, Melissa Morrill and Janice Dugan. These professionals have also helped her to become and overall good horseman as well as a rider and a trainer. In addition she has had a lot of guidance from many others, to name a few Susie Buchanan, Mary Warner Brown, Missy & Jessica Ranshousen, Beth Wicas, Marilyn Heath, Todd Flettrich and Bonnie Mosser. Also one of her judging mentor’s Jeannie McDonald and Danni’s judging side kick Ann Moss. When Danni is not super busy w/the horses her second passion is Salsa Dancing! Of course none of these accomplishments would have been possible without the support of her family and friends.
