Description:

Zip wins over the hearts of everyone who rides him. He is a stunning AQHA four-year-old, standing 15.2 hands tall. He is curious, which translates to a very willing partner under saddle. He requires no prep; you can step on him cold after weeks off, and he is almost always the horse you had put away previously. Sometimes, with extended time off, he can be distracted, and it takes him a minute to get back into a work mood. He stands quietly, loads right up in the trailer, is very simple to tack up, and will pony another horse with ease. Zip has been ridden both English and Western. He can carry a flag and is okay with a rope. This well-mannered boy will cross bridges, start over jumps, go over logs, and has been exposed to all the normal public-trail-system craziness, including loose dogs, joggers, bikes, kids, trains, and parking-lot traffic. One of our favorite things about Zip is his very smooth gaits; he has a beautiful lope and an easy-to-ride trot. Zip has so much to offer his next person or family. He would be suitable for a rider working with a trainer or someone with some riding experience. He is still young, and sometimes he needs a little help understanding what is being asked when he encounters something new.
