Winston is a 14-year-old 15-hand Rocky Mountain with a kind disposition and easy-going personality. He has been ridden all through the mountains of Colorado, is sure-footed, and takes every obstacle in stride. He is easy to ride no matter the environment, mounted shooting, arena, trail riding, or crossing water, Winston has done it and is happy to do it again. He stands for the farrier and loads and unloads as one should. He is great with time off and is always the same horse. Catch him anywhere in the pasture and ride him to the barn bareback if you choose. Winston wants to be your friend. He has been our go-to for guests or greener riders as well. He hobbles or highlines and is great on overnight adventures. He is absolutely amazing in rough country.
