Toby’s Mystic Shadow (“Shadow”) is a beautiful registered Rocky Mountain Horse mare with a gentle spirit and excellent training. Born May 17, 2010. Shadow is a striking black mare with a small white marking on her nostril and stands 14.3 hands tall. She is sweet-natured and loving, and she forms strong bonds quickly with the people who work with her.

We purchased Shadow in 2022 from a respected Rocky Mountain breeding farm, and for the past two years, she has been in professional training and trail-riding with Layne Wingfield in Kentucky. During that time, she has received skilled, consistent training and now has well over 100 rides. Shadow is confident in a variety of settings, as clearly demonstrated in her videos.

Shadow has a beautiful, smooth Rocky Mountain gait along with a lovely walk and canter. She is enjoyable to ride and has been well cared for throughout her life. All veterinary care, vaccinations, and checkups are current.

Shadow would make a wonderful partner for someone looking for a dependable, well-trained horse to love and enjoy for years to come. She is the kind of horse that becomes part of the family — a true forever horse.
