Splish n splash (Gus). Gus is a 7-year-old John mule registered in the Saddle Mule Association. He has been through all my training and has become a really great mule. Gus is kid-friendly. Loves attention. Easy to catch. We use Gus on all kinds of ranch or farm work. Ponying colts, he neck reins, side passes, works off of rein pressure or leg pressure. We have hog hunted, coon hunted off him, and can shoot the gun from his back, Pop the bullwhip. He is excellent to go out and trail ride or ride down the highway if it is traffic-safe. He has a nice running walk and a smooth rocking chair lope.. whether you want to go to the show ring or just a really lovely trail riding mule, Gus is your mule.
