I’m a firm believer that when you come across a good, broke gelding, you have something special. A good Gelding will give you everything they have to please you. They will never back down and will be there for you till the end—a never-ending bond.
Smoke is a 5-year-old Blue Roan Quarter Horse pony, standing 13.1 hands. He has the passion and confidence as one destined to be amazing. Smoke is an amazing trail mount, started with jumping, amazing as an all around as any obstacle doesn’t bother him. Smoke would be suitable for any program. When on the trail, Smoke is eager to sure see and is in no hurry, more whoa than go style. He will follow in the back with no issues, but yet has no problem leading a pack as well and is sure-footed when navigating any trail with the type of terrain he comes upon. Smoke will go through the water with no issues, up and down hills and slopes with ease, through a thicket, or over any log he comes across. Anywhere you point smoke, he will go in that direction. He’s delightful to ride in a group or even alone. He’s not herd-bound at all.
Smoke has been started over jumps and ridden English style. He has plenty of vigor and movement. He would excel in absolutely anything you do with him.
Under Saddle, he stands to be tacked up and untacked. Takes a bridle with absolute ease. He stands to be mounted and dismounted. Smoke is unbothered by passing traffic, an ATV, or any dog, whether they are barking and chasing behind him or just walking past him. Smoke will stand by a mounting block if it’s needed for you to mount and wait till he’s asked to step off.
When at home, Smoke is such a joy to have around, and he is easy to catch. Smoke will pasture with both mares and geldings with no issues. You can put Smoke in a stall also and he will keep it neat and tidy. You can put Smoke in a cross ties or tie him to the side of a trailer. Smoke stands to be bathed and for the farrier. He is currently Barefoot and can be shod but doesn’t need to be, as his hooves are hard enough.
Smoke has been exposed to and is pleasant around children, ATVs, dogs, any Farm Equipment, and any other type of livestock.
Smoke has a bright and amazing future ahead of him, and don’t forget how amazingly beautiful his color is.
He has the foundation and the ability to go in any direction to be desired. Smoke is very driven and willing and continues to impress everyone he greets daily.
