Description:

Shooter is a stunning 6-year-old appaloosa draft cross gelding. This guy will get you noticed wherever you go. Shooter is always at the gate waiting for you to come to see him. He loves being with people. He bathes, clips, stands for the farrier to get hot shod, and hobbles. He is great for the vet too. He’s middle to low in the herd and an easy keeper. He’s a little green in the arena but is learning to neck rein and pick up his leads. He will side pass and is learning to move his hips and shoulders. On the trail, he’s pretty solid! He is forward-thinking and ground covering. He does prefer to be in the back of the trail string. Bridges, bikes, traffic, obstacle courses, and dogs do not phase him. He’s tracked cattle and worked the flag. He’s dragged a sled, handles a whip, and stood next to someone shooting balloons. He’s currently learning how to jump over cross rails. I think this horse could finish out to be a show horse, or stick to the trail and have the prettiest horse with the coolest brand out there! He does have some nervousness about him, but if you are patient with him, he settles down. He is current on Coggins, vaccinations, and had his teeth floated this past month.
