Shiloh

Shiloh is a 15 hh, 12 yr old, Sorrel Tobiano Gelding. I took Shiloh in on trade for a quarter horse. The gentleman that owned Shiloh had been using him at his feed lot, pushing and sorting cows a few days every week. He decided that he needed a bigger stouter horse so that he could rope and pull out 1800 lb bulls if he needed. In addition to working around his lot, he has trail ridden Shiloh all over Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia and Ohio. Shiloh has been on week long camping trips, ridden on briar beater trails and ridden through many State Parks. Shiloh is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle. Shiloh is a confident horse that knows his job and isn’t afraid to go out alone or be a leader. He is will walk on a loose rein but will move out easily. He has a natural 4-beat gait, a nice lope, a good reverse and neck reins very well! He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. Shiloh has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. Here is a horse that any trail rider is sure to enjoy!!!
