I would love to introduce everyone to Scooter!! Scooter is a gorgeous 12-year-old 15hh Palomino KMSH gelding. Scooter is the definition of a been there done that horse. He spent his younger years as a field trial horse traveling America. Then was sold to an older man who spent the last four years trail riding Scooter all over Ky, Tn, WV, NC, and GA. He also used Scooter around the farm to check fences and gather up livestock. He is a go-anywhere, do-anything type of horse. He has great ground manners, not pushy or flighty. Handles like a dream and is very easy to catch. Stands tied quietly, easy to clip, bathe and groom. He is great for the farrier as well. No trouble to saddle and bridle and will always stand dead still to be mounted. Scooter is like riding a quarter horse but a quarter horse that just happens to be gaited. He one-hand neck reins like a dream and has a great woah and stop. Scooter has a very smooth, easy-going gait that is very comfortable. He also has one of the best canters you will ever sit on and will fall right into it out of a walk if you ask him to. Like I said earlier, Scooter is a phenomenal trail horse. He is 100% safe in any situation, knows his job, and will take care of you. It doesn’t matter how young, old or knowledgeable you are; he will take care of you on the trail. Drop him over a mountainside, swim the river, or just ease down a beaten path Scooter will take care of you. He is great in traffic and around farm equipment as well. I could go on and on about Scooter all day, but in short, if you are wanting a pretty horse that’s gentle, smooth, and smart, you better check him out.
