“Rocco” is a 6-year-old, 16-hand Friesian cross gelding. He is the first one to meet you at the gate and loves to be right in your pocket. He is a great size for a wide range of riders. Rocco will side-pass to you at the mounting block and wait patiently for you to get on. He is not fazed by tarps, the bullwhip, flags, or anything else we throw his way. He has been ridden in English, Western & bareback. He is quiet and enjoyable to ride. From complete beginners to advanced riders, riders have trained him on the trails and in the arena. He loves the trails! Water, rocky terrain, steep hills, and bridges, nothing will bother this horse. Rocco will confidently ride down a busy road, unfazed by the surrounding traffic. He knows his leads and has an excellent whoa. Rocco will also drive. He has been hooked in the carriage and on the sleigh. He will stand patiently while being hitched up, and when you are getting in and out of the carriage! Rocco is always eager to work and please his owner. He has a puppy dog personality and gets along with mares and geldings in the pasture. He stands for the vet, farrier, or just to be loved on and groomed. He has been removed from the property many times and is the same off the property as he is on it. He sells 100% sound with no vices. PPE is welcome at the buyer’s expense.
