Rebel Ridge Ranger is a one-of-kind show horse, trail horse, husband horse, anyone can ride horse, and a love bug!
He’s been exposed to four-wheelers, dogs, bikes, children, adult riders, youth riders, novice riders, skilled riders and performs the same each time. He even travels well in a trailer!
He loves people and will meet you at the gate – ready for a carrot or some love!
He is a 6 yr. old registered Rocky Mountain Horse, gelding, standing at 15.1
Born at the famous Rebel Ridge Farm owned by Ron and Elsie Hatcher in Kentucky. `
Ranger is an exceptional horse for this breed. His beautiful baby doll face, incredible personality, talent in the show ring, and loveable charm make this horse a one in a million.
Under his trainer Jessica Shannon (2020 Trainer of the Year), His many accomplishments for just the past 2020 show season included:
– High Point Country Trail Champion Geldings
– High Point Geldings Country Trail Pleasure
– 3rd overall Western Pleasure
– Won his 1st Conformation class-he was only 5!

Ranger excels at everything he does, whether it’s confirmation, country trail, or trail riding up a mountain. During his second real year of showing as a five-year-old, he brought home so many ribbons, blues, and championships; I didn’t know where to put them! He is a smooth, smooth, smooth ride!
Ranger has had the best care: he’s experienced with the farrier every 6 weeks; loves baths and clips. He even is used to a leaf blower blown in his face or on his mane! He is good with sheath cleaning and is such a patient horse! He is UTD on shots and dental.
He was trained and shown all last summer with Jessica Shannon.
In his off-season, he climbs the mountains of Utah to stay in shape.
Ranger was a stallion until he was gelded in April of his fourth year but doesn’t carry any stallion characteristics besides being a little bossy in a herd. Put him with young colts, and he has a blast, as he has been with our baby from last year.
He comes to mounting block, wants to please, loves exploring, and is curious!
Ties anywhere and stands patiently. He will meet you at the gate and wait for treats or attention. He is looking for his next person to take him on more adventures or continue his show ring career. He can do both! He is not showing this season and is located in Utah.
