Pepper is a very handsome 3-year-old Paint grade gelding and stands at 14.3 hands. Pepper is a very gentle and friendly horse used to being around kids, adults, and many different animals. He is a huge cuddle bug who loves to be loved and around people. You can groom him for hours, brush his mane and tail, bathe him – he loves the attention. He is also great for vets and farriers. Everybody loves him.
Pepper has been started under saddle here with us and has been a joy to work with and one of the easiest horses to teach. We have yet to find something he is afraid of. Any new things he encounters, he meets with curiosity, not fear. Pepper has been ridden Western, English, and bareback and has been on many long, quiet trail rides. Pepper loves to go on trail rides and venture out on the ranch with his human and rides out alone perfectly well but is also fine riding with other horses. He is a nice, light ride with comfortable gaits. He has a nice headset, relaxed back, and stays quiet on a loose rein ring or trails, but you won’t have to ask him twice for anything. Since we start our horses out in a halter when we first ride them, he has retained a very soft mouth to a bit. He moves off your leg easily and responds to a soft hand, will turn around your leg, and has been started neck reining. He has shown to be extremely surefooted out in the country and well balanced, especially for a young horse. Pepper is a very respectful and well-behaved horse. He is very willing to do anything he is asked. His sweet personality and young age will make him bond easily with his owner, and he will look for you when you come to his pasture. He has been exposed to everything you could imagine, including dogs, cars, tractors, ATVs, chainsaws, tarps, balls, umbrellas, cattle, poles, etc. He is a very kind, honest, and trusting gelding with a great disposition. Pepper loads and unloads in the trailer by himself with ease and will stand tied all day like a gentleman. He also stands at the mounting block perfectly or when you mount from the ground and groom him. This gelding is easygoing and will do absolutely anything you ask of him, and he still has his entire life ahead of him. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to own this wonderful horse.
