Pearl is a 12-year-old mare whose Sire is a Rocky Mountain and Dam is a Missouri Fox Trotter. With this cross, Pearl has a nice, smooth, fun gait. If you’re looking for an enjoyable ride that willingly goes anywhere you ask, Pearl is your girl. We have ridden Pearl in the mountains, on the road, and taken her to many shows. Pearl is sure-footed on the trails and willingly crosses creeks, logs, ditches, and will swim across the water if you ask her.

As you can see in the videos, Pearl is very easy in the mouth, as we have ridden her with and without a bridle, and she is very responsive to your cues to stop, turn, side pass, and back up. Several different riders have ridden Pearl and it has never been a problem. Pearl stands quietly tied in the cross ties or to the trailer. The kids have shown her in costume classes and had the best time. She takes it all like a pro. Pearl loads great hauls easily and is a champ to shoe, stands perfectly.
