Description:
Get ready to have a new favorite horse in the barn! Not only is Poco magnificent to look
at as a beautiful Palomino with perfect dapples, but she is the ultimate all-around horse that
is perfect for any level of rider and for any discipline. With excellent genetic and long-term consistent training, she is a winner in all she does! Watch the videos and see for
yourself.
When it’s time to ride, Poco makes every decision easy; English or western, bareback or
bridleless, arena or trails. Just dream of the ride you want to have, and she will give it to
you every time.
Poco has been used as everything from a lesson horse to an extreme trail horse. She
has also done complex jobs like starting young colts for the first time, along with the
easy jobs like checking the mail. On the trail, Poco goes through water, brush, ditches,
ponds, declines, woods, open pastures, and hills with ease. She trailers with ease and
unloads, ready to go to work.
If you just want to have fun in an arena, she is great for roping the dummy, working a
cutting flag or working on bridleless reining patterns. She is a great pasture mate with 6
other mixed mares and geldings. She is easy to catch in an open field, and if you just
open a gate, she will lead the group to the barn into the stalls.
If you like to play on the ground, she has advanced training for obstacle and lead line
activities, which she can complete with relative ease. Poco has completed our full
training program. She has the best ground and saddle training you can find – from basic
lunging, flexing, picking up his shoulders, moving off your legs, and desensitizing to the
obstacle course. All of this has been reinforced by practical experience and many hours
doing her job. She is an all-around winner.
Poco is 100% sound with no issues, vices, or barn problems. She stands untied to be
saddled, trimmed, bathed, or whatever she is asked to do. She has passed with flying colors
our training and certification program, and is proficient in all the following and more:
