Merlot

Description:

Meet Merlot! Safe, sane and ready to ride, drive and be someone’s new best friend! She is 14.3 hands, good bone and a good foot. She is easy to catch in the pasture, loads and unloads as one should and stands tied, and stands to be tacked or harnessed. She is not spooky on trail and crosses anything put in front of her, great trail horse. She jumps wonderfully and would do lovely in the hunter or jumper world, or just to pop over some jumps for fun! She rides nice in the arena as well; she trots and lopes nice circles. You can shoot guns on her or grab your jacket or tarp while riding. She is not a dead head, but only goes as fast as her rider requests, she will walk all day unless asked to speed up. She is also an amazing driving horse and took the family to church on Sundays in the buggy. After church, she enjoyed giving the kids rides as well. She does well in a pen, or pasture and is overall no nonsense mare. Always the same ride, good for vet/farrier both. Low in our herd pecking order. Many years left for this one, no maintenance/no lameness. Can go barefoot or shod. Shipping can be arranged, feel free to come try her out to make sure she is perfect for you! Best to text first, and we will return your call or message. Thank you in advance for inquiring.
