Introducing “Scout,” a 7-year-old Rocky Mountain Silver Buckskin gelding, registered and assigned RMHA# 2015484357. Registration Name – LJ FLASH CICATRIZ. Standing 15-2 hands tall, shod, he is built for all-day endurance rides! The vet says the body condition score is 5/9, Ideal (where 1 = Emaciated and 9 = Morbidly Obese). Scout is up to date on all vaccines, Vet checked, and holds a current negative Coggins certificate. Date of Birth is May 14, 2015. DNA Genetic testing reports are also attached. A Baby picture is included on the listing. He is standing with the Mare.
Scout is an energetic, happy horse who always comes to the gate or fence line to greet you. The mounting block cue brings him into position without a struggle. He has been trained to utilize the Chris Cox method and exhibits excellent control. He ground ties, follows you without a lead rope, Gaits, Canters, Stops, Stands, and Trailer loads, all with non-verbal cues. He has been ridden by my 8 and 12 yr old grandchildren (in my oval fenced arena). He is safe for trail and town rides, accompanied by other horses or alone. He owns the creek and crossing and plays in the water! Up and down inclines, over obstacles, no problem. Men and women riders, he doesn’t care! On the road, he doesn’t flinch at Semi-trucks, Motorcycles, Cars, four wheelers.
He is ready for you to exhibit your horsemanship!! I would classify him as best for any rider beyond the beginning stage. He will occasionally snort at new encounters on the ride. RMHA Certification is in process, and papers will be updated on the auction website in a few days.
